"Green" Cars!

After watching the documentary-movie, "Who Killed the Electric Car?" in March of this year, I've had a disdain for cars that run on gas. I finally gave my Pontiac G6 up back in June and swore to myself that I would not get a car that ran on gas, as best as I could. Living in a city, it was easy for me to do that. I was worried I wouldn't be able to keep my own promise up if I ever needed to move to a non-city area.

But these cars are keeping my hopes up! Introducing:

I think it's about time these cars start coming out! Yes, I know they are expensive (they may be cheaper if their design was toned down a little). But honestly, if everyone starts demanding green cars, prices are bound to come down.
These are only just a few. There are a lot more out there. My favorite personal choice is hydrogen fuel-cell cars, after a huge discussion with my brother, Dustin. I was all for electric cars (mainly because I watched the movie), until he told me that fuel-cell, though a little more complicated and expensive to make than battery, used less energy resources. For electric cars, they still need a power-based source, since they run on battery. But they're still cleaner than gas, so that puts them in my No. 2 favorite list.

Gas prices may be at an all-time low right now, but I wouldn't be too pleased. Everyone knows that the reason the prices dipped is because of an economic downturn. But the world also knows that economies that go down are bound to come up again. And when that happens, gas prices will go up as well...up to the universe. I'm pretty sure of that. Don't forget developing countries are catching up where automotive drivers are concerned. Chinese riding bicycles in Beijing is a rare sight right now, because the convenience of cars is overpowering the idea of motorists.

North America will have to show the world the potential of green automotives, especially when we have the technology to do so. Our people need to prove it by letting those car companies know what we need. Drive clean and drive green. It's about time.

P.S. One extra information I thought would be interesting to add:
The Chinese electric car! 30 of them are bound to go on sale in Canada, very possibly by next year. If that happens, they would be the first Chinese-made car to be sold in North America. For more information, click here.

Same-Sex Marriage Thrashed

It's disappointing. Truly disappointing. I'm glad Obama won the election, but at the same time I'm saddened that Proposition 8 in California passed. A part of me asked, "Where's the justice in this world?" One minority is up, but another minority got thrashed. To counter the irony of it, it's one of the minorities who thrashed the other minority.

Seven in ten Africa-Americans supported Prop 8, cuz there were apparently more of them attending churches than Euro-Americans. And as we all know, many church-goers are all for the "natural marriage is only between one man and one woman" theory.

Personally, I don't think a gay couple or lesbian couple is offending anyone by getting married. It offends their beliefs, but not people in general. I mean, do you lose your dignity or morals or values when two men are committed, on paper, to stay happily for as long as it takes? No, that's cuz its their business, not yours. Does it affect the money in your wallet when same-sex marriage occurs? Actually, I think it costs more if you try to oppose something, rather than open up your mind and let people be as they are. Look at how much was spent just on Proposition 8.
$75 million.
Wow, no wonder inflation happens and taxes increase.

They think they know what God wants. Honestly, if God were really great, I believe He will want each and every one of us to be happy. What's the point of believing in God, trying to be all holy and then turning around and making others angry and unhappy? If God doesn't control us, I don't think we should be controlling each other either. If God didn't like gays and lesbians, he wouldn't create any at all if he didn't think it'd be fun and varied to have a few different types of people around. And I highly doubt he'll object to the products of his creation deciding to be together. Happy together.

I think the thought of same-sex marriage is a sore-eye to proposers of Prop 8, so they push it on what is "natural". Well, in my opinion, happiness is a natural thing. If you really wanna believe in "natural", then leave others be if they're happy with what they want. Just because you think it's weird or "unnatural", you're putting others in a very uncomfortable and unsatisfying spot. Did your heart actually rejoice when you saw those two girls, Kristina Haas and Jennifer Briz, crying? Well, then, I question your merit.
Loosen up your beliefs a little. Is your belief so important to you that you have to put others down?

Despite the disappointing result, however, I still believe that America will come around eventually. As Ampersand said, 61% of Californians were in favor of only heterosexual marriage in 2000, while it's down to 52% in less than ten years. It won't be long before California comes back, and a few other states will be tagging along as well.

I still have faith in humanity.

Your own eBook business for only 30 bucks?!

So I came across this site and was intrigued. Here is a very possible chance to work from home without risking anything. Maybe $29.95 to start it up.

This guy apparently set up an eBook business and is selling it off...for $29.95! According to him, the eBook business he is selling is fully automated, so you don't have to do much work on your part at all, since he's already spent 10 years building it. On top of that, he gives one month free support if you have any questions. Here's what you get for his automated biz for 30 bucks, and I quote, "entire massive ebook inventory (thousands of ebooks), a complete tutorial, access to my website, ongoing updates and support(which can be extended for only $5.95 a month) and a money back guarantee! The automated eBook Business is a self sufficient business that will make you money 24/7!"

On top of that, a quick look at his eBay business proves that 98% of his customers are satisfied with his products.

My suggestion: Why not give it a try? You've got 60 days, or 8-weeks, to try it out and if you're not happy, this guy will refund you your dough. With the economic downturn and financial times getting a little tougher, you've got nothing to lose.
